Kia ora,

My name is Joleen and I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Central Kids Te Akoranga as a teacher.

I grew up in Whakatāne and now live in Edgecumbe with my husband Findlay and two children Kobe and Isaac.

It was while attending Edgecumbe Playcentre with my children that I developed a passion for early childhood education and went on to study to be a teacher through Massey University.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, cooking, playing music and attempting crossfit in my garage gym.

I look forward to working alongside and spending time with the teachers, staff, tamariki and whānau at Central Kids Te Akoranga.
