Our team of caring, fully qualified teachers is committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education. Guided by Te Whāriki early childhood curriculum, and Te Whatu Pōkeka, a kaupapa Māori approach to assessment for learning, we continuously reflect on and strengthen our teaching practice through ongoing professional learning.
We value strong, respectful relationships with tamariki and whānau. We take the time to understand your child and work alongside you to support their learning journey. Your aspirations for your child matter deeply to us and strong relationships are the foundation of our work. He mea nui oo koutou wawata moo aa koutou tamariki ki a maatou. Ko ngaa hononga kaha te tuuaapapa o aa maatou mahi.
We are committed to authentic bicultural practice, with te reo Māori and tikanga woven throughout our daily programme. We strive to create an environment where every child and whānau feels a true sense of belonging - a place to stand with confidence.
Nau mai, haere mai e ngaa whaanau katoa. We warmly welcome all families - come and visit us any time to experience what we have to offer.

"My daughter only started about a month ago and has always struggled to slot in or trust her teachers/peers. We have had no issues what so ever with her fitting in and she has taken to Rushton Road Kindergarten so well, it shocked me. She absolutely loves it and so do I. Highly recommend the play area and the staff."
